CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE

It gives me immense pleasure to represent the Board of Directors of Feza Foundation Limited in its fifteenth year.
I would like to thank those hardworking members and the community for their moral, physical and financial support over the past fifteen years.
I would like to thank my fellow board members for their inspiration, and for the time that they give so generously.
It has been an honour to chair this wonderful organization and to have witnessed the growth of the Foundation, and to see the positive difference it has made to so many people in
Listed below are the three main areas the Feza Foundation is involved:
a. Education
The main objective in forming the foundation was to conduct educational activities to assist the socially disadvantaged NESB community in gaining affordable but quality education.
Ø To this end, in January 1996 we opened the Sule College main campus in Prestons, NSW. Shortly after, we opened a primary school campus in Shellharbour and also one in Auburn.
Ø The foundation also administers a scholarship fund to assist in the education of the needy students of the community.
b. Humanatarian
The foundation represents hope, care and a positive future for those in the midst of despair.
Through appeals from the community:
Ø We send food, clothing and financial aid to the needy locally and internationally
Ø We send Qurban meat to the needy people around the world
Ø Our college students donated money to the victims of the bushfires in Victoria.
c. Social
To educate and involve ourselves with the community, we hold the following variety of activities.
Ø As a foundation we invite the community to our annual Qurban Eid Bayram Festival to celebrate multicultural diversity in a harmonious environment.
Ø For the less advantaged youth, we organize regular camps to allow them to build character and friendships.
Ø We hold informative seminars and symposiums by inviting international guest speakers. To this end, we have held many seminars on youth and education issues given by our local academics.
The Feza Foundation has had a positive impact on the community since its inception and thus I would to thank everyone involved for their support and encouragement over the years and look forward to a better and brighter future. Your dedication and loyalty gives your board every confidence that this wonderful organization, established to fulfill vital community needs, will continue to meet that need with passion and vigour.
